The best way to improve teamwork is to have a group discussion. From group discussions, students learn how to accept other ideas and share their own opinions, which helps them to combine them with others' and create better thoughts. Sharing various ideas on an group assignment enhances team members' creativity and encourages different approaches to a specific issue. Not only is accepting others’ opinion important, but sharing their own opinion is needed because students experience their personal role in group work which helps individuals to realize their own responsibility. Furthermore, individuals who are leaders learn how to summarize the team’s idea and advance to better results. I once worked as a leader in a group discussion and at first, satisfying the whole team was the hardest task because accepting each other’s opinions was not appealing. However, I learned that not only supervising the work, but encouraging and supporting each member in the back was also an important task as a leader. Our team advanced further by criticizing each other and raising better communication skills which led us to create the best results.
