I have been playing violin for nearly 7 years, but I still need daily practice of scales and bowing techniques. However, I had to stop playing violin for more than two years in my middle school years and the gap made difficult to bring my skills back. The most important thing while playing violin is to get the right note, intonation, and musicality. While I was playing, I found that I lacked in playing high notes in tune, and I was always rushing through the ends. In order to keep it neat and clean, I used a metronome that ticked regularly to keep me in the right rhythm. Also, practicing scales is one of the most important exercises to develop technique. Furthermore, playing piano is also considered a helpful way to focus to the pitch and notes. Playing violin helped me focus better on studying and relieve stress.
